The hour is just writing non-stop. My best posts are banged out in 45 min to an hour of just sitting and writing. Everything else, rewriting (good writing is in the rewriting), marketing, formatting, etc, takes longer than an hour. You can’t tell new writers to write for three hours. They won’t do it. It is demotivating. You have to start small until the routine/habit cements.

But I write all day and night. It seems.
