Out-of-the-mouths-of-babes
Comes truth or wisdom.
My friend, her two-year-old, and I stroll around Nob Hill, at the top of San Francisco.
Her sweet daughter rides ahead on her tricycle.
We loop the square. My friend’s daughter abruptly slams on her tricycle brakes, backs up, moves forward again, then makes another quick stop with the precision of an Indie 500 driver.
We look at each other curiously, what is possessing this child?
She then jumps off her trike, kicks it over, and shouts, “GOD DAMN IT!”
My friend says, “Honey, why are you so angry?”
The girl turns to us calmly, “I’m looking for parking Mommy.”
