Do you ever spend hours looking at the photography on Unsplash. I do.
It takes me forever to choose just the right image for my story.
I get lost in the beauty of the photos. I marvel at the different perspectives revealed in the result of each picture, which is as varied as there are people in the world.
As a college student in Boston, I took the obligatory photography class. It has always been an interest of mine.
Photography is romantic, just like the dream of becoming a writer. Hemingway and Ansel Adams both lived dramatic and bold lives, nomads traveling the land for new experiences to write about and photograph.
Living a full life was required for both. Their work demanded it.
Wholehearted living.
That is what I love about writing.
It requires me to bear my full self, as honestly as I can (somedays I’m better at this than others) and live in the meantime.
