100 Things I Learned On Medium In 100 Days Of Posting

I’ve been busy writing. All the hard work for the past four months was reflected positively in my earnings this past month.

I’m not going to sugar coat it, writing for Medium as a newbie requires a lot of writing and grit, but it’s possible. Determination is 95% of the battle plus some good writing.

It was for me.

I have continued to increase my earnings each month, with the exception of the second month, which took a dip. I just received my earnings through Medium’s Partner Program (MPP), and it is well over $600.00, and I’m thrilled. Beyond thrilled.

Below is what I’ve learned since I published my first Medium post on June 26, 2019. I have a few Medium gurus to thank for pushing me out of the nest and giving me a deadline to ‘hit publish’ on a story.

If I can do it, so can you. Here you go. I hope this helps.

  1. Medium is an excellent place to share your work. You don’t need an agent. You don’t need a publisher. You only need a story to tell or a lesson to teach.
  2. Anyone can write, and the more you post on Medium, the more eyeballs on your essays.
